Falstaffs Ghost Hunt - Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire
A building that holds sinister secrets. Are you brave enough to uncover them?

Sorry, we do not have any events for this location at the moment. Please keep an eye on our website for future dates.

There has been a structure on this very site since 1146 during which time the building has been known as The Shrieve's House for at least the last 500 years, in honour of its first recorded tenant, an Archer to King Henry VIII.
Many events have occurred during its time here from the Plague, several fire's, A Civil War and at least one murder, It has also been documented that William Shakespeare has walked the ancient cobblestones that lead to the huge barn at the rear of the house.
Civil War troops were lodged here in the 17th Century and reports of a local serial killer having committed his foul deeds within the building during its time as a brothel and tavern.

Witchcraft features heavily in Falstaff’s history with reports of dark magic, spells and incantations being used here in fact one area outside the barn is still used by practicing witches to this day. It is no surprise that there is so much reported activity around the building, as it sits directly upon no fewer than 5 Ley Lines. There have also been several reports of Vortexes on the upper floors of the building, it is believed that non-grounded spirits can use it to enter and leave this world.

There are a number of prominent spirits and ghosts that haunt The Falstaff Museum which include a pickpocket who will try to steal people's rings and jewellery, a corrupt Justice of the Peace who extorted money from the poor locals in return for leaving them alone and a dark hooded figure with dark red eyes who is often seen just lurking watching who is there,
Finally, the most unnerving is the 17th Century serial killer who makes his presence felt by physically touching people in the group. Heavy footsteps, whispering voices and dragging sounds have all been heard during vigils here and some have been so badly affected that they have been unable to return to the upper floors.
