Awaiting you within the walls of one of the oldest buildings in Hinckley Town is a museum unlike any other; The Haunted Antiques Paranormal Research Centre (HAPRC).

This museum is home to hundreds of objects that are said to have spirits attached to them. From once loved children's toys and traumatic war memorabilia to forgotten family photos and sinister satanic ritual objects, each object has a story to tell - will you uncover the secrets that the objects hold and time forgot?

Evidence from controlled experiments and startling video footage has been captured of seemingly inanimate objects moving of their own accord and taking on a life of their own.

Unlike other museums the objects and antiques are not kept behind glass, instead you as the investigator are encouraged to hold an object or sit in an exhibit to see what you can sense or feel. Are you brave enough to hold a doll which could have a sinister spirit attached to it, or do you dare to sit and stare into the many mirrors in the witch’s room, what might stare back at you?

It is said that some of these objects are so terrifying that just touching or holding them will have you looking over your shoulder for the rest of the night.

Ghosts of The Haunted Antiques

The rooms within the centre are full of artifacts and objects from around the world, all with their very own story to tell or attachment to discover. 

So many people have had experiences at the centre with both the objects as well as the building itself so it’s no wonder the energy hits you as soon as you walk through the door.

In the witch’s room a mirror which is believed to be a portal to another world was broken without anyone else being in the room and was caught on camera, whilst in the main room dolls have moved mysteriously on their own as well as a clown again caught on camera turning round.

Pictures hang all around the walls of people from times gone by which all seem to stare right at you, having a closer look you might find that the person in the picture is actually dead.

The Haunted Antiques Centre holds lots of sinister secrets which are all waiting to be found but be careful what you wish for.

The history of The Haunted Antiques

The Haunted Antiques Museum is located at 11A Regent Street in Hinkley, Leicester which is one of the oldest streets in Hinkley dating back to the 13th century. In 2018 it became home to the first ever Paranormal Research Centre in the UK  

The building dates back to the 19th Century and now holds one of the largest collections of haunted antiques in the world. 

None of the antiques or objects are kept behind glass and for those who are brave enough you are encouraged to pick them up and hold them to see what you sense or feel.
